2005-06-04misc cleanup patch from Adrian BunkDave Airlie
2004-10-31Allow drivers to override reclaim_buffers in an OS-independent way byFelix Kuehling
passing drm_device_t* as first parameter, like in the BSD version.
2004-10-28Break poll() to make it match the Xserver's broken expectations.Jon Smirl
2004-10-18Update Doxygen configuration & comments.Jose Fonseca
2004-10-15Move drm_cpu_valid out of drm_init. drm_init is empty now.Jon Smirl
2004-10-13Add a poll function that alternates between zero and normal poll return toJon Smirl
bring DRM into conformance with normal poll().
2004-10-12Breakout heads into their own data structures.Jon Smirl
2004-10-10Rename fn_tbl to driver. Core driver now uses pci_driver name whichJon Smirl
reflects the personality name.
2004-09-30Lindent of core build. Drivers checked for no binary diffs. A few filesJon Smirl
weren't Lindent's because their comments didn't convert very well. A bunch of other minor clean up with no code implact included.
2004-09-30Move things around to reduce public symbols and even out files. Switch toJon Smirl
get_order from drm_order.
2004-09-30Make fops per driver instead of global, remove default flush, poll, readJon Smirl
functions
2004-09-27First check in for DRM that splits core from personality modulesJon Smirl
2004-09-05merge back bunch of whitespace and misc changes from kernelDave Airlie
2004-08-27__NO_VERSION__ hasn't been needed since 2.3 days ditch it...Dave Airlie
2004-08-24Merged drmfntbl-0-0-2Dave Airlie
2004-08-17Merged drmfntbl-0-0-1Dave Airlie
2004-07-20first set of __user annotations from kernel (Al Viro)Dave Airlie
2004-04-08long dev_t patches from 2.6 treeDave Airlie
2003-11-04Memory layout transition:Michel Daenzer
the 2D driver initializes MC_FB_LOCATION and related registers sanely the DRM deduces the layout from these registers clients use the new SETPARAM ioctl to tell the DRM where they think the framebuffer is located in the card's address space the DRM uses all this information to check client state and fix it up if necessary This is a prerequisite for things like direct rendering with IGP chips and video capturing.
2003-05-27Merged DRM documentation.Jose Fonseca
2003-04-23Install dummy/noop read & poll fops unless the driver has replacements.Keith Whitwell
2003-04-22remove DRM read, poll and write_stringKeith Whitwell
2003-04-17Bring some drm module changes over from the XFree86 trunk:David Dawes
- Reset 'bound' flag for an agp entry after undbind succeeded in drm_agpsupport.h (Egbert Eich). - Ignore hw_lock for drm device if lock was set by a different instance (ie Xserver) to prevent second server from spinning in driver release function (currently only relevant for i8xx drm drivers) (David Dawes). - Use the agpgart "key" for the unique handle for bindings rather than the memory address (the key is guaranteed to be unique) (David Dawes).
2003-03-25linux merge for drmAlan Hourihane
2002-05-16Allow drm to build under 2.4 and 2.5(.14)Keith Whitwell
2002-01-27First pass merge of XFree86 4.2.0 import.David Dawes
2001-08-19No one's maintaining 2.2.x support - so remove all the cruft.Alan Hourihane
2001-08-07Lots of DRM fixes: added new pieces of template code so the ffb driver canJeff Hartmann
be ported, rolled back r128 and i810 version bumps so 4.1.0 works with cvs kernel modules, added Config.in and updated Makefile.kernel, incorporated lots of drm fixes inspired by patches sent by Redhat, made DRM(realloc) usage check for NULL allocations, restructure driver init routines to export dev_priv only when initialized and to check for all error conditions.
2001-05-01Import of XFree86 4.0.99.3David Dawes
2001-04-09Import -f XFree86 4.0.99.2David Dawes
2001-04-05Merged ati-pcigart-1-0-0Kevin E Martin
2001-02-16- Clean up the way customization of the templates is done.Gareth Hughes
- Fix old-style DMA for gamma driver (please test). - Pull out IRQ handling into drm_dma.h (please test on i810, gamma). - Lots of general cleanups, remove compiler warnings etc.
2001-02-15Merge mga-1-0-0-branch into trunk.Gareth Hughes
